PART 10 (Dallen)
Go to School
Julian drop me off after pick me up from the school. It's been a month I get my formal school. So that’s mean I was living in this big house six month long.
I come up to the second floor. Before I open the door, I can hear noisy music from the outside.
I take deep breath then open the door.
The first thing I see is Veronica in her weird behaviour again. She singing while hold a pom-pom on both her hands and dancing like a cheerleaders.
“I love you baby ~ and if it's quite all right, I need you to warm the lonely nights.~”
She keep singing and didn’t notice that I was arrived.
“Oh? Dallen?” She finally notice me after a while. I just stare at her.
She came to me and turn off the noisy music.
“How was your day?” She sit squat to made our high equal.
“So-so.” I answer while take a step back from her.
“Oh~ you know that word already. Why is it? You didn’t like the school?” She talking while take one step closer to me.
“No, it just so.” I don’t know why but I feel the lesson is too easy so I get bored but I can’t tell her that.
“Hmm, are you feel bored?”
I stare at her. She seems know what I was thinking and it made me feel little scared.
“You could feel that now cause it's just the beginning. Also you not attend to normal school but special school with acceleration program.” Now she little bit calm and serious.
“Then how about you? Why you not going to school?”
“I don’t have too. I already 19 y/o you know.” She laugh.
“Is not there any high school after that? Julian said he go to the formal school until he age 23.”
“Oh, it's because he is stupid- I mean. He is a doctor so he must learn many things more than the others.”
“So you not learn much more than him?”
“I also learn so much just like him but in different line. I graduate at college when I was 19 y/o. It's infinitive proof that I’m smarter than him.” She look so proud.
“Lier.” I don’t believe her. How could someone as silly as her be very smart.
“Hei! I’m not laying! You want to see my raport and certificates?”
“No.” I walk pass her and go to my room. Leaving her to babbling alone.
