In the kingdom, Bunga is shocked by the what she saw Guntur doing. She remembers confronting Guntur and knowing what he has been up to after his departure from the kingdom. In confusion, she stumbles upon Princess Intan, who is alone in the garden.

She is finally able to breathe as she allows herself to lose control. Her tears start coming out, making her face wet. She is sobbing uncontrollably in the garden. Her body is shaking so much that she has to put down her cup to prevent the tea from spilling everywhere. She buries her face in her palms as she screams inaudibly to release frustration. Then after letting herself go, she throws her head back to lean on the glass. 

"Princess." Another person's voice wakes Princess Intan up from her own thoughts. 

"Yes?" Alarmed, the princess raises her head and puts an expressionless face.

In front of her is standing an awkward maid in her plain uniform. She looks very scared but determined to tell her something. Princess Intan can see it in her eyes. Nobody else dares to be in Princess Intan's presence because she is infamous for being mean to maids. The princess knows at least that much. 

"I-..My name is Bunga, Your Highness. I am a maid and a friend of Mutiara. I need to tell you something."

Princess Intan did not see this coming. A friend of Mutiara comes to tell her something. The princess nods afterwards and lets Bunga sit down. She pushes a plate of cookies to Bunga. She has no intention on eating the cookies anyway. 

"What is it that you need to tell me?" 

"I don't know where to start, Princess."

"Start wherever you want," Princess Intan half-heartedly answers. 

She only stays and listens to the scullary maid because she knows that the maid has seen her cry. Yet again, she will become a rumor for weeks among the maids and guards. At least by being somewhat nice, the maid may have something kind to say to her peers instead of groundless rumors. 

"I guess I will start with the latest news. I am sure Your Highness know that Prince Surya and my friend, Ara, have been kidnapped."

Because Princess Intan does not say anything, Bunga continues her story,"Among the maids and guards, there are theories that our peer, Guntur, is the mole in the palace. He disappeared that night the prince and Ara is kidnapped."

Now that Bunga has brought a piece of information that she has not been aware of, Princess Intan becomes more interested. She sips her cold tea and nods to signal Bunga to continue. 

"Guntur came. He came with his friend who was meant to deliver a message to the king and queen. I met Guntur near the dining hall. He said that he is now in the rebellion group."

"The Neo Renegades," said Princess Intan. 

"Have you heard about him too, Princess?" Bunga asked carefully, not able to read the princess' expression. 

"No, I have not heard of Guntur. But yes, I have been made aware of the Neo Renegades presence," answered Princess Intan. Her mind flies to the piece of paper that Prince Chahaya wrote his plan on.

'He did write about Neo Renegades there,' she thought.

"They are asking for something in exchange for Prince Surya's safety." 

"Yes, I am aware of that too," answered the princess.

As she was saying that, Princess Intan realizes something that could be her way of saving Prince Surya, and quite possibly the kingdom as well. Her eyes lights up for the first time. She looks into Bunga in the eye.

"Your name is Bunga, right?"

"Yes, Your Highness."

"I need your help."

"Whatever it is, it will be my honor," answered Bunga. 

"This will be a secret between us. Do you promise not to let anyone know of this conversation we are about to have?" Princess Intan asked for Bunga's loyalty. 

"I promise, Princess," said Bunga.

"Good. My cousin, Chahaya, is planning something terrible. I need to stop it in order to save my other cousin, Surya," explained Princess Intan. 

"And also your friend, of course," she added. 

Bunga cannot help herself from opening her mouth in shock. She had thought that the news she brought is bad enough. But what the princess said is even worse than knowing about Guntur's betrayal. The second prince has now betraying the kingdom as well. 

"But how should I help when it considers the prince, Your Highness?" asked Bunga, trembling in fear. 

"You will be my spy. I will ensure your safety. We will be very seamless in this mission. The reason I am asking you to be my eyes and ears are because we need stronger evidence before I can come to the queen," explained Princess Intan. 

She appears very nimble and sharp as her brain moves beyond the pace of her lips. She is already making plans and creating scenarios as to how Bunga and her are going to reveal the truth about rebels inside the palace itself. 

"I will have Madam Bintang transfer you to be Chahaya's private maid," said Princess Intan. 

"Princess. One more thing. Actually, I don't think we can trust Madam Bintang in this," said Bunga meekly. 

The truth is she does not whether or not Madam Bintang is a Neo Renegade as well. However, she does know that they cannot risk exposing themselves when they are this close to burn themselves should the mission fails. 

"What do you mean?" asked Princess Intan in a more lowered tone. 

She looks around to make sure one more time that there are nobody in this garden except herself and this maid. Bunga follows Princess Intan in inspecting the garden further. Then the two women leans forward, closer to each other. 

"Ara receives a sapphire brooch from Madam Bintang. It is very similar to what Guntur had before he joined the Neo Renegades."

"Are you saying that Madam Bintang could be another Neo Renegade disguised as a head maid?" asked Princess Intan to confirm. 

"I am not sure, Princess. But I am quite suspicious because that thought did cross my mind."

Princess Intan pauses for a few seconds, realizing how far this rot has gone inside her own palace. She then moves backward, sitting more straight,"Very well, then. I will talk to the queen directly regarding your move to be Chahaya's aide."

"But Princess..."

"Don't worry. I have my way. Everybody knows that I have had a crush on Chahaya for a long time. I will make up excuses."

Bunga nods. A part of her hurts for Princess Intan. She looks back to how she used to gossip about Princess Intan as well. The other maids and her used to talk badly about the princess. She lowers her head in shame without even noticing. But Princess Intan noticed it. She just smiles weakly, staring far ahead.

"People say I am crazy. While I am scared that nobody would believe what I said because of that rumor, I also think that this rumor can be use as my weapon."

"A weapon?" asked Bunga, raising her face to look at the visibly vulnerale princess in front of her. 

"Yes, I will pretend that I am going crazy because Chahaya is not responding to me. So, I will ask my trusted maid to keep him in check," answered Princess Intan with a wink. 

It is extremely painful to see Princess Intan that Bunga almost sheds a tear for her. She is not crazy. She is just lonely and deep in pain. Something that Bunga did not understand until Ara and Guntur's departure from her life. 

"I will do whatever it takes to help protect my friend and this kingdom, Princess Intan. I had made my vow the day I left my home," said Bunga which immediately answered with the gentlest smile from Princess Intan.
