“Why?”
A question that has been around since consciousness was a thing.
“Why what?”
“Why are there so many religions?”
“I don’t get your point.”
“Are there really that many Gods out there?”
“Why not?”
“Do they have the same discord as we humans do? Do they fight for their own religion?”
“They’re literally Gods! Why would they?”
“Is this what they really want? For their people to just fight against one another about their own beliefs. That doesn’t make sense. At all.”
“What doesn’t?”
“The fact that they actually want us to fight about our beliefs. If they know that somewhere in the human history something went wrong why don’t they just fix it? You said it, they’re literally Gods!”
`”And how would they fix it?”
“I don’t know! Probably reverse time and let us finish what we should’ve in the right way. Or maybe just let us all have the same thinking and knowledge about what we take as our beliefs. Or maybe just destroy the whole population and start over fresh! Many ways, you see!”
“What if I tell you that that’s what we call déjà vu. A certain scenario happening over and over again until we actually get it right. People only believe it as false memory then when it really isn’t. And about having the same paradigm? I don’t think that would be so fun. Having everyone knowing and mastering the exact same thing wouldn’t be so fun when it comes to exploring new things and keeping old memories. And about destroying the whole population. Well we do have the rainbow as a sign. It happened once. Won’t happen again. He said it Himself.”
“What?”
“The point is that it really is complicated. It’s not that they want riot here. They gave us the chances. It’s our choice of what to form from it.”
“But you see.. they have simpler ways.”
”Let’s say the gods really do exists. They made what was made. The big bang occurred. We can’t say that that’s just ‘nature’. Who said that it’s not God’s will to use nature. If everything were really formed by the big bang, then we are just as dead as the rocks around us and so are they as alive as us around them. Are we part of the big plan? Maybe. But are we the big plan? Maybe not. The point is that we might not be as important as we thought we were.”
“And what’s with the ‘let’s say’?”
“Well, what if they don’t exist? Then the beliefs actually lives up to their names. Beliefs. They are only here because of those who actually believe that they exist. So is everything else. Everything is determined by how human sees it. The answer to ‘Can humans fly’ and other similar questions doesn’t depend on the ability of human to fly or do other things. It just depends on the definition of what flying is. Human has the power to decide what and how things are. Just by simply deciding definitions and having public approval. So is with our beliefs. They’re just there with the purpose of building better moral and integrity for whoever believes in it.”
“So you’re saying that these beliefs are just make-believes?”
“Not necessarily. Not that sure either. What I’m sure about though is that religions have purposes. Peacefulness is surely one of them.”
“But this whole religion thing doesn’t seem to be working so well.”
“Well it was the purpose. The execution is all on us now.”
