The International school

     On 29 February 2012, at Cibubur, East Jakarta build a junior high school. The name of the school is California junior high school (California jhs). Every year the number of students schooling there increase. In 2012/2013 there are 75 students, 2013/2014 there are 100 students, 2014/2015 there are 125 students, 2015/2016 there are 150 students and 2016/2017 they have the same total which is 150 students because there are only 6 classes. 2 for 7 grader, 2 for 8 grader and the rest are for 9 grader.
     At this school not only the local students but also from other country like from China, Australia, Japan, America, and Africa. They use English as their conversation language. There are many extra subjects (club). Sometimes they are so funny because they use different language to talk to each other. Even though they are different but they never have an argument.
     Like in physical education (PE) subject the topic is about running. The teacher make a competition.
The teacher : 1, 2, 3 ready! Set! Go!
The teacher : Jarco, why don’t you run?
Jarco    : I’m number 4 sir and you only ask for number 1, 2  and 3.
The teacher laughed at him. It is normal at school because every students have different point of view.

 
     At that school they don not provide canteen, but the students are allowed to buy food and beverages from online application. Usually it need a long time to buy and arrive there because they give a complicated instruction to the driver (with other language). Nowadays the students are only allowed to bring food and beverages from their house. Some students agree and some students are not agree. The teacher make that rule because the food and beverages that they buy arrive after the lunch session and they usually buy unhealthy food and beverages.
     California Junior High school is famous because of the rules and consequences. It only have one consequence. Every bad things that we do accidently or purposely we must get consequence. The consequence is make a your own story that consist 500-550 words in English and retell it to your friends when English session. It such a funny consequence. Even though like that it prove that no rarely students get consequence.
     The monthly fee of this school is only Rp.1.000.000. For a best school it is very cheep. But if there is event every students must pay Rp.50.000. This school also accept students who get scholarship and also provide the scholarship. The one who get scholarship get discount of the registration fee and the monthly fee.
     At East Jakarta only this school who organise olympics for other school, like science, math, English and many more. The participants only for other school.
     The best program is from last year it start to use less paper, it use apps and the students just bring laptop. So it can also save the world from cutting down trees.
 
     California Junior High School is already promoted to each country and each region in Indonesia. For registration they use website so students and parents no need to come to the school to registration, not only that to buy stationaries and other needs we can do it through website. Every 2 weeks this school also have a seminar for students and ever 1 month for parents.
     The function of the parents’ seminar is to talk about the achievement of the students. This is useful to know the development of the students so that parents can give best suggestion to their children. This is a fiction school so do not be angry.
