One

A cold and quiet dawn in an old looking mansion, a young boy’s eyes started to open. He’s been sitting in the corner of his room, thinking about his life. “Sigh, what can I do now?”, he said. He’s sad, alone, desperate, but confused. He wondered how all of this happened, how he ended up like this. Again he looked at the rising sun, and turned his head away towards the wall. He gets up, and walks downstairs to get some water and lies down on the soft, wooden floor. His tears began to flow down his face as he started having flashbacks of events throughout his life. He hasn’t reached adulthood yet, but it’s been a rough time for him. He then closed his eyes while tears are still flowing down.

He remembered how his life started out as a child. On the day of his birth, doctors and nurses were very amazed on how perfect the newborn looks. The baby was given to the father, and a smile soon appeared on the father’s face as he looks at the boy, and that smile goes as quickly as it came, knowing that his wife is laying down sick on the hospital bed. He rushes to the room where the mother is being treated in, because he knows she doesn’t have much time left. He stood right beside his wife, and handed over the boy so that she may hold him. Teardrops of both joy and sadness dripped from th mother’s eyes as she had her first, and final look at the child. The mother hugs the baby then gives him to the father and said, “Please, treat him well.”, and closed her eyes to rest in peace. Sorrow filled the entire room, for they know the pain she has been going through, but could not save her. The father decided to name the child Kid.

Kid has an angel, a devil, and true personality inside him. That makes him very complicated. By most people, it’s considered weird. But Kid doesn’t mind it. Kid and his dad lived in a house where his mom used to live in. It’s old, but they made it as comfortable as possible. Kid even made a few paintings which were hung up on the walls, because Kid is good at lot of things, having that kind of personality in him. He also had a pet dog, which he named Kenny. The father and son had great times together, and lived happily. But his life of peace never stayed that way. First, he was bullied until he lost control and got into a fight where he injured lots of students. And the next day, he got called into the detention center for his case, and was planned to be expulsed, because he injured the students pretty badly. But when asked why he did it, he said he didn’t do it, because he didn’t know how he lost control. The school called his dad to find out what really happened. Because teachers still wonder what happened to the kind, diligent, and good boy they know. 

And Kid never came back to school. Instead, he used his creativity and talents to make money of his own, which paid off well. His dad is quite proud of him. The globe loves him. He instantly went rich and was very very proud of  it, not to mention his dad. His life turned out great. But he doesn’t know that he was about to lose one of his most important things. Long story short, His father died. This pushed him back for a while. He tried to distract himself by searching up some old stuff in his house. And he found a diary that used to belong to his mom. He found out that his mother wasn’t human, and neither is he, nor his dad. End of flashback. To simplify, he is an angel and demon, something past from his generation. And he wants to become one.

Kid wakes up, and begins to prepare for a ritual, which was also done by his grandfather, which is to find his 2 personalities, and fight his true self. If he doesn’t succeed between 7 days, he will be trapped in the realm forever, and if he dies in the realm, he will die in real life. “Hito seitoshi no mirai no ryōiki e no kōka.”. And he transported into a garden of beautiful cherry blossoms, and a floor of glassy waters. There are three paths, upwards to heaven, downwards to hell, and straight towards the true self. This is a world of life and death, connected to a person’s imaginary realm. All he needs to do is retrieve the personalities, and ascend back to the real world.
