- Word count is no more than 2000 and no less than 1000, excluding title
- Contestant is a scholar (Middle School-University)
- Contestant registers as an individual
- Work is created individually and has never been published
- A candidate may submit more than one entry
- Winning works will be of the committee’s rights
- Work is written in Bahasa Indonesia or English
